It seems nearly impossible that summertime is coming to an unavoidable close. (Really, how's that possible?) But with our sunny long days becoming shorter and cooler, there's a silver lining. Fall 2014 bridesmaid fashion has gone out and it's GOOD. Reallllll good. It's hard to dig through all of the glamour to choose just several favorites, but we've brought out a few styles below which are modern, feminine, and super chic! The neckline of the gown is at once modern and timeless. A demure keyhole shows a sliver of skin and flattering front seaming creates a bust that nips in the waist then joins a flowing chiffon skirt, for any soft finish. This bridesmaid dresses is perfect for any bride that's searching for something a little special with a little of sparkle. A modified halter neckline sings having a small embellished brooch and draped bodice. Fitted to the natural waist, the gown then flows right into a full skirt. Beautiful with just a little bling. A beautiful high neck is adorned with dainty flower buttons in the shoulder, however the real beauty of the maid of honor dresses is based on the open back. Pleated details criss-cross to reveal a small, tasteful opening. A waistband separates the bodice in the full skirt for any classic, high-neck look in the front.

So, you've asked four of the besties to become your bridesmaids and you've also asked a cutie to become your flower girl. You'd just like a theme to operate through - maybe exactly the same color - however the thing is the fact that all your girls are very different. One's an adolescent - but she would like to look grown-up. Another likes long, elegant frocks (and isn't so interested in showing her legs off). Another has great legs and appears fabulous in shorter, cocktail styles. And your other friend is gorgeously curvy. However, would you get a glance together that will keep them all happy (looking their best)? I'd counsel you to mismatch your bridesmaid dresses but keep exactly the same color theme. For the teenager, you will find our Junior Bridesmaid styles offer style and sophistication - in exactly the same colorways because the adult dresses however with a younger twist. Your curvy friend will appear fantastic in a single of our bridesmaid styles designed specifically for the more generous figure. And for that others, we've lots of long classy frocks and short sassy cocktail dresses. And your flower girl will appear pretty like a picture in a single of our flower girl styles. I've shown a variety of green bridesmaid dresses in only one of Dessy's colors - Cornflower blue - but you will find hundreds of choices in various shades of green, purple, pink, reds, neutrals, browns. Take a glance and get planning what your bridesmaids are likely to wear.

It appears like no girl is ever really pleased with her figure. If she's got boobs she'd probably favour a bit less. And if she's fairly flat-chested she'd probably like to have a bit more. Now surgical treatment is one (rather dramatic) option - but selecting a frock that's well cut and cleverly tailored can provide you with the illusion of something that isn't there (or a smaller amount of something that can there be, if you achieve my drift). And with regards to what you have 'up there, if you wish to make much more of it you need to be selecting a bateau, halter, or ruched neckline. Luckily for you personally, Dessy understands the sizes and shapes we all are available in and so offers lots of pretty bridesmaid dresses to match just about any individual. Evening length, cocktail length, strapless, one-shouldered - in almost any color combo you are able to imagine Here are a handful of options we'd recommend for that less well-endowed bridesmaid. (And tomorrow we'll be assembling some selections for girls who've rather more 'up top' than they'd like.) Any of those styles would suit a somewhat flat-chested girl (Styles from left: Alfred Sung D678 in Majestic, After Six 6706 in Cloudy, Alfred Sung D494 in Firecracker, Alfred Sung D469 in Charm, Dessy Style 6716 in Tutti Frutti) You might have dismissed the thought of wearing a halter neck style if you are flat-chested however it can work to perfection if you choose well. Decide on a style that has some ruching and detail in the neckline to distract the attention. All of the styles shown above are by Dessy and fit the brief perfectly and are available in a variety of different colors to match your wedding theme. They also are available in cocktail-length versions if you would rather go for short dresses. A one-shoulder style with ruching would also work for that same reason along with a bateau neckline is really a classic option for girls with less up top. The other lovely thing about each one of these frocks is they don't seem like traditional bridesmiad gowns - and therefore your maids may wish to wear them over and over to posh events following the wedding. midnight blue bridesmaid dress A bateau neckline such as this one in Alfred Sung Style 681 is another classic option for less well-endowed ladies. Elegant and trendy, this dress is within midnight blue (the ideal choice if you don't would like your maids to put on black) however, since it is by Dessy you have lots of other colors to select from. Choose an outfit that flatters your maids and you'll be friends for a lifetime - not to mention, the photographs will reflect that! (Featured image green bridesmaid dresses)

When I browse around at my friends, they're quite different. Some are really the home bods. Always perform a spot of decorating or DIY. Fabulous cooks. I always talk to them when I take some inspiration on which to cook, things to plant during my garden inside a certain area, or how you can cram my clothes in to the storage space I have available. Then you will find my sporty friends who live in a fitness center, around the tennis court, and try to seem to be planning for a competitive run or event. Good for motivating me when I feel a little sluggish, want to get fit for skiing, or wish to sort out my post-Christmas fitness. And then I've got friends with young families who're up to their necks in child car seats, diapers, soft play center dates - and try to seem to be announcing they are having another baby. At another end from the scale are my career women friends who inspire me using their energy, clear thinking, ambition, and personal time management. I anticipate hearing about their travels. If you've selected a group of bridesmaid dresses who're all completely different (not to mention, they might not know each other) you are going to have to place the work and research directly into make sure that they think comfortable looking their best in whatever dress you select. What you really shouldn't do is simply present your girls having a dress that's one style suits all. Because it probably will not. We're all different shapes, sizes and also have features we like yet others, less. It's a case as always, of focusing around the good and disguising the remainder. So considering the types from the girl above, I've come up with some dress styles by Dessy that may suit athletic types, new moms or moms-to-be, romantic types, and those who're always around the move. Something a bit floaty, classic and understated. Breezy chiffon and one-shoulder bridesmaid styles - contemporary and classic all simultaneously. Sporty girls will often have beautifully toned arms, waists, and legs. So allow them to shown them off inside a fitted, sleeveless bridesmaid dress. Maternity bridesmiad gowns are designed to flatter - and when your friend has already established a baby just recently, she'll feel at ease wearing one too. Our convertible Twist Dresses are ideal for travelers because they pack beautifully and merely shake on arrival. Your bridesmaid can drape hers to match her - and she'll think it is a fabulously useful wardrobe addition later on, long afterwards your wedding day. We've shown all of the blue bridesmaid dresses above in shades of Navy, but you will find them inside a multitude of different colors.

As I drove from Scotland to London yesterday the Yorkshire moors were covered within the muted hues of purple, grey, and soft green that have been just a joy to behold, the wild expanse oozing the passion of the Bronte story. Small wonder then that award-winning Romantic Novelist Melinda Hammond endures the edge from the Pennines within an old farmhouse, often getting her inspiration on her Georgian and Regency romantic tales in the open moorland. And you can understand why from this stunning photograph that Melinda took on a single such walk. And whilst the vista helps inspire Melinda together with her romances, the colours that Nature has thrown together to this type of gorgeous effect got me considering using the earthy purples and greens for any wedding palette. So first I pondered the different shades of purple, gray, and brown for heather bridesmaid dresses and this is exactly what I created... From the left we now have Social Bridesmaid 8130 in Lavender; Dessy Collection 2941 within the appropriately named Stormy; Dessy Collection 2922 within the equally apt colour of Passion; Dessy Collection 6525 in Topaz; Dessy Collection 6651 in Platinum; and Dessy Collection 6716 in Concord. And then I considered mixing in certain of those muted greens and I think I prefer it. From the left there's Dessy Collection 6731 in Icelandic; Dessy Collection 6726 within the fabulously-named color Smashing; Dessy Collection 6556 in Kiwi; Dessy Collection 2887 in Suede Rose; Dessy Collection 2844 in Celadon; Jenny Yoo JY501 in Pantone Ultra Violet; and finally Dessy Collection 6611 in Moss. I decided that all from the heather navy blue bridesmaid dresses would have to belong and floaty, out of the box befitting a marriage with the haunting memory of Wuthering Heights since it's inspiration! And because of the current trend for Tweed, what about dressing your daughter's groom and his ushers in heather-inspired sports jackets produced from such beautiful tweed because this from TheMillShopOnline. That really could be something to sing about!

What's the main difference between a flower girl along with a bridesmaid? Well, a flower girl is generally young - under the age of 10 probably. bridesmaid dresses really are a little girl's delight - full-skirted, in pretty colors with co-ordinating sashes and Dessy offers them in sizes 2-12 But whenever a girl hits 10 she doesn't want to resemble a flower fairy. She's searching for something a bit more 'grown-up', a bit more sophisticated. If you've got older bridesmaids she is going to want to be such as the 'big girls' and hold her very own with them. That's why we introduced our Junior Bridesmaid Dresses. Specially designed to match and fit younger figures who haven't yet got grown-up curves. Our Junior Bridesmaid line is an ideal choice for pre-teens. Check the styles and you will see that most of the features - spaghetti straps, one-shoulder styles, waist details - act like those of the adult bridesmaid version - it is simply that these are cut to suit less mature figures. If you are looking to dress your girls all-in-one theme - from flower girls right through to your girlfriends in their twenties, then you will find it very straightforward as numerous of our blush bridesmaid dresses are available in on-trend fabrics and colors - such as these shimmering sequins and florals. So you can aquire a neckline and length to match every individual - which can make for happy photographs of the maids. Remember that the junior bridesmaids can also be attending a college prom at some point shortly, so why wouldn't you choose a dress that might be suitable for a prom too? Take a look at Dessy's prom selection, which hosts many styles in attractive colors, to flatter all shapes and figures.

One way a bride could be certain that she found an ideal frock on her maids is that if they love them a lot they can't wait to put on them again. And why shouldn't they? If a bridesmaid dresses flatters the person, making the best of their figure, complexion - in a nutshell having that magic component that makes a girl feel beautiful - then it is a real shame to not put on an outfit again which makes you feel this way. Nowadays bridesmaid's gowns like Dessy's are worlds from the frumpy, badly fitting wedding attendant outfits of old. So should you loved your bridesmaid dress, here are some ideas to transform it into a wardrobe staple that you could count on to make you are feeling better each time you put it on. If you'd a long bridesmaid dress, trim it making it right into a cocktail dress for your forthcoming formal event. If it would be a strapless dress you can include straps within the fabric that's been cut away, or use the internet to somewhere like Rouleaux and discover some fancy diamante ribbon. If you need to change the beauty of the dress you could include a sash (in case your waist is one thing you particularly wish to show off). Try something after some sparkle or perhaps a classic satin sash. (You might need to rehearse your bow-tying technique here). Add a brand new statement necklace. A pair of stinky shoes. Maybe a shawl or shrug. We've said hello before but it is just so essential that the bride chooses maid of honor dresses to match her girls. Mismatched bridesmaid frocks can function well here, because they allow for different necklines, differing waist detail, different sleeve length, and different bodices. No two girls are identical, why should they dress exactly the same? You can mismatch the bridesmaid's dresses in fashion but opt for exactly the same color. Or you could mismatch the frocks and choose graduation in color. That would be very stylish. One thing is for certain though. If your maids want to put on their dresses again following the wedding, then they've paid you the biggest compliment going.

Have you chosen your bridesmaids yet? Because whenever your girlfriends hear what is the news, you will be inundated with requests from would-be bridesmaids. You see, the large news is the fact that red-carpet designer, Jenny Packham, that has dressed stylish women, from royalty right through to A-lister movie stars, has established a bridesmaid collection and it is exclusive to Dessy. It's something all girls need to be worn. Lucky bridesmaids-to-be. So what caused this exciting development? We had a one-to-one talk to the designer concerning the development of this collaboration with Dessy. Says the designer: " I have always aspired to produce beautiful bridesmaid dresses for any special occasion however with a bride, the task is to produce something really special – it’s got to have that extra magic which makes the bride adore it. Designing bridal wear is just one of my greatest pleasures: to increase the signature Jenny Packham style and aesthetic to produce a beautiful, elegant bridesmaid collection, is very exciting." "It's very feminine and contemporary, with vintage-inspired beading and understated embellishments." Replies Jenny Packham: "I find inspiration everywhere I go, from the painting to some piece of jewelry to some luxury boutique. The Jenny Packham Bridesmaids collection was inspired through the English Country Garden – in the fluidity of the fabric towards the soft color palette. I’ve taken silhouettes which are popular from your ready-to-wear collection and flattering for those body shapes." "I think it’s vital that you ensure the type of dress you select for your bridesmaids, compliments your bridal look. "It could be a daunting task to locate one gown for a lot of different sizes and shapes. When I’m designing, I’m always considerate of the way the cut, draping, and the beading will best boost the woman who'll wear the gown, making her feel confident and delightful. I think using a tonal color palette in a number of styles is really a contemporary method for adult bridesmaids." "Elizabeth Taylor when she married Richard Burton - she wore canary yellow and her hair was styled inside a long braid woven with white flowers." Click below for that video. It'll be interesting to be aware what you think. We believed that it was interesting how little wedding gowns have changed - and just how some trends have even returned. The first dress - a Downton Abbey-style bridesmaid dresses dating from 1915 - showed the bride to be wearing a veil which was very similar to the one which Meghan Markle wore in the Royal Wedding recently, as a result of the scalloped edges. Just implies that real style has never been out of fashion. Next up would be a flapper-style dress in the roaring 1920s - the decade of dancing The Charleston. 1920's style dresses haven't really lost popularity and several couples today choose to have a 1920s-style day. In particular, the veil style - slightly bunched up round the ears - is really a favorite with vintage brides. One of the very timeless dresses - give or take several details - maybe the 1935 wedding gown. Based on a bias-cut slip dress, it's overlaid having a long lace coat. Change the collar just a little and you could put it on today. The buttoning in the front is exquisite. (Actually, we LOVE the thought of having a long lace 'coat' on the slip dress. Perfect afternoon to evening wear. The 1940's style wedding looks just a little dated - and today's brides often prefer a far more fitted gown. Moving to the 1950's dress. Today's brides styling a vintage-style big day would just like to find a dress such as this. A full skirt is overlaid with lace and lace is appropriate back in style now. Pretty. Did your great-grandmother wear something similar? In our view, probably the most dated veil and headpiece may be the one worn through the 1960s bride, by having an oversized bow. The skirt includes a tulip shape that you simply don't see a lot now either ,but it is certainly a really romantic dress. Moving into the 1970s. If you're targeting a boho-style day, then this is really a dress we believe you're going to love. The 1980s style dress is unquestionably of its time, as a result of the puff sleeves. Perhaps we'll leave things there. The mid-1990s dress hasn't dated much. You could wear that today and also you'd look very chic. Again, you may want a more fitted gown, however the off-the-shoulder look is appropriate back in style. The mid-1990s dress hasn't dated much. You could wear that today and also you'd look very chic.
